Four Leaf Roasters Cold Brew pitcher packs are roasted and packaged in a food safe facility under sanitary conditions. Cold brew and cold brew concentrates require safe handling to help prevent microbial growth. Before brewing, ensure that the brewing vessel, lid, and environment surrounding them has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Always use sanitized, gloved hands when preparing, brewing, and decanting cold brew.

Brewing Ratios for Cold Brew Style:

Ready to Drink: Use one – 100g packet per 1.1L (~35oz) filtered water (~1L Yield)

Concentrate: Use two – 100g packets per 1.1L (~35oz) filtered water (~1L Yield). To serve, dilute the concentrate with an equal amount of fresh water in a 1:1 ratio.

Food-Safe Brewing Instructions:

  1. Place the 100g filter pack(s) into the vessel based on the desired cold brew ratio and batch size.
  2. Pour room temperature water over the packet(s).
  3. Cover the top of the container with lid and let steep for 12-24 hours.
  4. Remove filter packets from the container – avoid using sharp objects or bare hands.
  5. Transfer the finished cold brew to a refrigerator that maintains a temperature under 40˚F. If brewing the concentrate, keep it undiluted and refrigerated for safety and freshness as well.
  6. Do not brew more than what is needed for a seven-day period.
